Sunnylands celebrates desert plants and wildlife with a free Family Day on April 19  RANCHO MIRAGE, CA – Just three days before Earth Day, Sunnylands is inviting the public to explore the beauty of the desert at its annual “Family Day: In the Gardens,” a day filled with activities focused on desert plants, wildlife, and art materials that can be found in nature.   The event at Sunnylands Center & Gardens is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 19. Admission and parking are free.
